Under judge Mr. L. Davis, Kyota (Kipmik's Quiet Riot) took her first two points with Winners Bitch her first day in the show ring at the Credit Valley Kennel Club show. The following day the win went to puppy Jag (Kipmik's Racey Little Number), owned by Alison Postma, under judge Mrs. A. Davis. Kobuk (A/C Ch Kipmik's Kampaign Promise A/C CD CGC), owned and handled by Gilda Goldberg, took Best of Breed both days.

Under judge William Shelton (California), Jag (Kipmik's Racey Little Number), owned by Alison Postma, took Reserve Winners Bitch on the final day of the Specialty weekend, a nice placement for such a young girl just turned nine months old.

Kobuk - 2003 AMCC Top 25
			 WinnerKobuk (A/C Ch Kipmik's Kampaign Promise A/C CD CGC), owned and handled by Gilda Goldberg, is awarded the Top 25 win at the 2003 AMCC National Specialty in Montreal. Arnuk's grandaughter Makenna (Ch Winterchill's Wyldkat Makenna) owned and bred by Gaylene Robertson, completed her championship with Winners Bitch from the Bred By class at the National . Congratulations, Gaylene.

			 United 2003Under judge Constance Barton (Virginia), Kobuk (A/C Ch Kipmik's Kampaign Promise A/C CD CGC), owned and handled by Gilda Goldberg, took Best of Breed and went on to a Group 2nd at the United Kennel Club show in Montreal. This was the initial day of the AMCC National Specialty weekend.

			 2003Under judge Leslie Rogers, Kiara (Kipmik's Partner In Crime), owned by Lyne Browning, took Winners Bitch at the Trillium Dog Fancier show for two points, while daddy Kobuk (A/C Ch Kipmik's Kampaign Promise A/C CD CGC), owned and handled by Gilda Goldberg, took Best of Breed, continuing on to a Group 2nd under Dr. Harry Smith.   Jag Kipmik's Racey Little Number owned by Alison Postma, took Best Puppy in Breed.

Under breeder/judge Sharon Weston, Kita (Can Ch Kipmik's Prime Suspect) took third place in the Bred By Bitch class, while sister Kiara (Kipmik's Partner In Crime), owned by Lyne Browning, took third place in her Open Bitch class. Arnuk (A/C Ch Kipmik's At'Sa Lotta Woman ADC CGC TT CAM) once again won her 10-12 years Veteran Bitch class amid more cheers and whistles from her fan club!

So here we go again, with Arnuk gobbling up Arnuk - BOS AMCA Regional 2003the ring again and again with her steady, effortless stride while mom tried desperately to keep up the pace. The applause grew and grew until even Arnuk, normally unaffected by the noise, turned her head for a moment to see what all the fuss was about. And then Arnuk - 10&11 yrs
			 Veteran 1st, AMCA Regional Specialty 2003 it came, the pointed finger placing her in line behind the Best of Winners Dog! WOW!!! Best of Opposite Sex at ten and a half years of age and just eight years from the time she took this prestigious win from the classes in Detroit. What an honour!!!

Grandson Kobuk A/C Ch Kipmik's Kampaign Promise A/C CD CGC again took second place in the Stud Dog class, followed by youngsters Kita and Kiara. What a great time we had and what a wonderful tribute to our kennel and breeding program all the way through. Thank you all for your support!

Jag - Puppy Grand Sweeps, AMCA Regional
			 Specialty 2003 The Northeast Regional Specialty started off with a bang! Under breeder/judge Harvey Prather, Jag (Kipmik's Racey Little Number), owned by Alison Postma, won the Puppy Sweepstakes Arnuk - Veteran Grand Sweeps, AMCA Regional Specialty 2003 while grandma Arnuk (A/C Ch Kipmik's At'Sa Lotta Woman ADC CGC TT CAM) won the Veteran Sweepstakes! A clean sweep for Kipmik!!!

Under breeder/judge Kim Meredith, Jag (Kipmik's Racey Little Number), owned by Alison Postma, took second place in her 6-9 months Puppy Bitch class. Kita (Kipmik's Prime Suspect) took third place in the Bred By Bitch class, while sister Kiara (Kipmik's Partner In Crime), owned by Lyne Browning, won her Open Bitch class without a stitch of coat! The Grand Old Lady Arnuk (A/C Ch Kipmik's At'Sa Lotta Woman ADC CGC TT CAM) won her 10-12 years Veteran Bitch class amid cheers and whistles from the crowd. What an amazing fan club this girl has!

And the cheers just kept growing under breeder/judge Nancy Russell, taking Arnuk through cut after cut until there she was, in hot contention for the final wins. What an honour it was to take the first Award of Merit with such a prestigious entry! To everyone who cheered the old girl on, THANK YOU!!!

Arnuk went on to take Best Veteran in Specialty, while grandson Kobuk A/C Ch Kipmik's Kampaign Promise A/C CD CGC took second place in the Stud Dog class, followed by youngsters Kita and Kiara.

Under breeder/judge Linda Allen, Kiara (Kipmik's Partner In Crime), owned by Lyne Browning, took first place in the 18-24 months Maturity class at the AMCA National Specialty in Sturbridge, MA. Sister Kita (Kipmik's Prime Suspect) was right behind her in second place. Baby Jag (Kipmik's Racey Little Number), owned by Alison Postma, took fourth place in her 6-9 months Futurity class under Linda Allen, and also took fourth place in the 6-9 months bitch Puppy Sweepstakes under breeder/judge Sandra D'Andrea.

Arnuk - Grand Veteran Sweeps, Palisades 2003 Arnuk (A/C Ch Kipmik's At'Sa Lotta Woman ADC CGC TT CAM) started our week off right with Grand Veteran Sweeps under breeder/judge Jay Costello at the New York/New Jersey AMCA area specialty held with the Palisades Kennel Club show in New Jersey. Under breeder/judge Roger Gifford, Kita (Ch Kipmik's Prime Suspect) took a fourth place in her very nice Bred By class, while sister Kiara (Kipmik's Partner In Crime), owned by Lyne Browning, took third in the Open class.

Kobuk - BOB, Anika - BOS Kobuk (A/C Ch Kipmik's Kampaign Promise A/C CD CGC), owned and handled by Gilda Goldberg, took Best of Breed today at the Oakville & District Kennel Club Show under judge Mr. J.L. Garcia, while his daughter Anika Ch Kipmik's Pistol Pakin' Mamma, took Best of Opposite Sex. Anika was capably handled by new owner, Mayumi Hattori from Japan. Also in the winning circle were Anika's sister Kiara, Kipmik's Partner in Crime, with Winners Bitch for two points, and Kipmik's Racey Little Number (Jag), owned by Alison Postma, who took Reserve and Best Puppy her first weekend out. Congratulations, eveyone. What a great day!

Flyball with Eko once more (Ch Kipmik's Hot To Trot FM), picking up another 400 points. Eko has finished off this flyball season with only about 200 more points to go for her Flyball Masters Excellent! It's going to be a long wait until the season starts again next year.

Kobuk - another Group 1st! Kobuk (A/C Ch Kipmik's Kampaign Promise A/C CD CGC), owned and handled by Gilda Goldberg, took another Group 1st today at the Grey-Bruce Kennel Club show under judge Janet Buchanan.  Way to go, Gilda & Kobuk!!!

Kobuk - Group 1st! Kobuk (A/C Ch Kipmik's Kampaign Promise A/C CD CGC) won Best of Breed at the AMCC Mid-East Booster held at the Barrie Kennel and Obedience Club show under respected International judge Paul Stanton, as usual capably shown by owner/handler Gilda Goldberg. Kobuk continued on to a Group 1st! Yeah Kobuk & Gilda!!! Eko (Ch Kipmik's Hot To Trot FM) and I spent the weekend playing Flyball in Thornton, Ontario, adding 421 points to her total. Kobuk continued to take the breed for the remainder of the weekend, while I showed Kiara (Kipmik's Partner In Crime) to a reserve placement on Monday.

Anika - New Champion Anika (Ch Kipmik's Pistol Pakin' Mamma) took Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex at the Hamilton Kennel Club show under judge Patrico Piedra, completing her Canadian Championship. And she did it all without her tail! Anika was again shown by co-owner/co-breeder Gilda Goldberg while I played flyball with Eko. Thanks, Gilda, for the new champ! But next time, take the cookie out of your mouth :-)

Arnuk - Veteran Grand Sweepstakes Arnuk (A/C Ch Kipmik's At'Sa Lotta Woman ADC CGC TT CAM) takes Veteran Grand Sweepstakes at the Aurora Kennel Club show under sweeps judge Karen Stauffer at ten years young. She continued on to win Best of Breed under judge Betty McHugh. Boy, did she have fun!

Eko (Ch Kipmik's Hot To Trot) got to play flyball for the first time since having her puppies and boy did she have fun! I didn't keep track of the points and I don't think there were a lot of them, but she ran strong and clean and had a great time. Joining her for his first time out this year was Chako (A/C Ch Kipmik's Driving Force FDCH TT ROM), who also enjoyed himself thoroughly and did a great job. Lots more flyball to come!

Kobuk - New American CD! Kobuk (A/C Ch Kipmik's Kampaign Promise A/C CD CGC) obtained the final leg for his American CD with a very respectable 191.5 and second place in an entry of 31 dogs at the Harrisburg Kennel Club Trial. This also gave him Top Qualifying Alaskan Malamute. Congratulations, Gilda!

Eko - New Champion! Eko (Ch Kipmik's Hot To Trot FM) completed her championship title today at the Wildwood Kennel Club show under judge Mrs. P. Taylor with Best of Breed (no specials). Eko has taken a long time to achieve this title, spending most of her time in coat playing flyball and most of her time not playing flyball being butt naked! She achieved her title minus half of her tail and due to have puppies in two and a half weeks! What a girl!!!
